Post anything you think we should do to improve our Great Bear wiki. Are we utilizing it to its full potential?
Lindsay and I are the only ones using it for inquiry groups it seems. And what about writing groups? Couldn't we use it for our writing groups, to come prepared with comments on each others' pieces.
I was curious why it was that whenever someone posts something on their individual page, why everybody else isn't notified. The same goes for whenever a new page is made. I guess i would've thought that a group email would be implemented for announcements like these. I don't know if there's a way to remedy this, but it's a personal grievance.
Mike here - I'm right there with the above contributor. This is another problem with wikis. I'd like to know the author of the above, but I'd probably have to go to the history to see that. It should be right here on the page. So, in response to the above, do we have to go into manage and tell the wiki which pages we'd like to receive notification for edits? I've done that with a couple, since I'm the GB wiki creator.
I'm with you both. I'd love to know if someone has posted something new on their individual page without going through each page to find out.
I would like this too but not through emails being sent but maybe a "news feed" that shows up on the opening page or something. Just an idea!
Resources (if any):
To return to Mrs. Rollans' wiki page, click "Mrs. Rollans' Class" at the top of the page. To return to the Class 2 wiki click here: Class 2.
